I\u2019m excited for the raises.\u201d \u2014Stella Holt, previous Group 3, Deli Dept, Lunds &amp; Byerlys Wayzata<\/h3>\n<p>With our historic grocery contract wins for our UFCW Local 663 members this winter, together we are building a future that workers deserve.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the NEW benefits that union members with Part Time positions enjoy at Lunds &amp; Byerlys:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved PT wages, top of scale now $17<\/li>\n<li>3 weeks paid vacation after 8 years of service<\/li>\n<li>6 paid holidays<\/li>\n<li>Paid bereavement leave and jury duty<\/li>\n<li>Ancillary benefits (vision, life, dental, AD&amp;D)<\/li>\n<li>Group 3 positions reclassified as Regular PT as Group 3 classification was eliminated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Part Time positions at Cub Foods\/Supervalu, Kowalski&#8217;s and Jerry&#8217;s saw similar gains to their jobs in their union contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The reclassification of Group 3 positions make part time positions more attractive by leveling the playing field and building upon what a part time position can be.<\/p>\n<h3>All of these Benefits &amp; More for Part-time<\/h3>\n<p>All of these above benefits were negotiated between the union and Lunds &amp; Byerlys, and offer huge value and incentives to these positions. Not only were those benefits won for workers, all UFCW Local 663 union members can also go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufcw663.org\/member-benefits\/free-college-scholarships\">college for free, receive scholarships<\/a> for additional educational opportunities, receive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufcw663.org\/member-benefits\/lifemart\">cell phone discounts<\/a>, have access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufcw663.org\/member-benefits\/team\">free confidential counseling<\/a>, and more!<\/p>\n<h3>Everyone Deserves a Better Life<\/h3>\n<p>We believe that <em>all<\/em> jobs have dignity and respect.
