With the holidays fast approaching, I urge all of our members to shop for their meals as well as gifts at our Union UFCW Local 663 grocery stores. For our members who don’t work in a retail grocery store, please check our local website for a complete list of Union stores. For those members working in retail grocery, please shop where you work, it only makes sense to support your employer that provides good jobs, wages and benefits!
I also would like our members to take a good look at what you can purchase for gifts in our Union stores when your picking out holiday gifts for people on your list. Have you considered purchasing a gift card for your store? Who wouldn’t like the ability to pick out a special meal or treat? If you look at the Cub Foods seasonal aisle there are many choices for holiday decorating, Christmas lights, candles, wreaths, toys, games, and more.Why go to Target or Fleet Farm when you can purchase these items in a Union 663 Store?
Lund’s and Byerly’s and Kowalski’s carry many special items, gift baskets, as well as wine and cheese to go with any holiday meal. I am sure if you take a good look in your own store you would be surprised how many items you could purchase to cross off that someone special on your list. It will make holiday shopping easier and keep your hard-earned money spent in Union shops!
