Help advocate for better workplace safety by participating in a short, text message-based study!
Your union, the United Food and Commercial Workers, believes essential workers must remain a priority when it comes to improving workplace safety, accessing life-saving vaccinations, and receiving critical resources that will save lives and stop the spread of this disease.
That is why we’ve partnered with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and FORWARD, the national databank for rheumatic diseases, to launch a national Essential Worker Study. By learning more about how this disease impacts frontline workers like you, we can learn what steps we must take to better protect you in the workplace.
Participation is easy, and involves the following:
- Receive a single text message each week inviting you to fill out a short survey if you have either contracted COVID-19 or received a vaccination. Your survey responses will be kept anonymous and your privacy will be protected.
- Have priority access to COVID-19 informational newsletters and participate in Q&As with the top infectious disease doctors in the country.
- Share your views by answering just a few questions a week that will help strengthen workplace protections and protect essential workers for years to come.
