Health Care Reimbursement Advocacy Training

By

Health Care Workers!

Learn how nursing home reimbursements for services work and how they can improve your ability to bargain for better raises!

Did you know?

Nursing homes receive reimbursements for services because the MA program reimburses nursing facilities for services provided to low-income elderly & disabled persons who meet income and asset limits and other eligibility requirements.

The MN DHS (Department of Human Services) administers the MA reimbursement system and establishes the reimbursement rates for each facility.

These reimbursements impact wages, benefits, and other working conditions for all of our UFCW 663 nursing home members.

Our statewide elected officials make the laws that guide statewide departments such as DHS in their practices, such as nursing home reimbursement rates.

How can I get involved?
