Are you interested in the labor movement or progressive organizing? Do you think you have what it takes to support worker leaders to win economic and social justice in their workplaces and communities?
The UFCW Local 663 Summer 2019 SPUR Program offers a unique opportunity for modified, part-time, Group 3 and courtesy/carryout members to learn the basics of worker organizing and about the labor movement. The program offers hands-on organizing experience through skills building workshops and engaging directly with fellow members. Participants in the program will build skills to have conversations with other members about the power of a union, identify workplace leaders, and map a workplace.
